Ivey will bust early IMO. He will go for the win, as he should.

    Ive gone with Schulman.

    Awesome darker horse for this.

Well I can hope Phil Ivey will win.

Even though I kind of doubt he will.

Out of all the players he's the best but as we know that doesn't mean a thing in poker when you can't get the cards to match up with the board.

I really wish he would just so it can say something for poker and he would be the first winner again that was a pro since 2002 Huck Seed I believe.

You can correct me if I'm wrong but it's been at least 5 years since a pro won it.

And I mean a pro before they won not after so fossil man and them don't count and it would be really awesome for Phil to do it.

So that's what I want to happen.

But you don't always get what you want! lol

You gotta think about it for a second. Sure, it might be nice for a pro to win the world series, but you gotta think about people who are new to poker.

They see the biggest poker tournament in the world (by number the Main Event clearly has that title). If you want them to try out poker, online or brick and mortar, and lose their money to you, do you think they are more likely to start playing if they see nobodies (like themselves) playing and winning the biggest poker event in the world, or seeing a pro who's been playing for 10+ years?

    That's just personal perspective.

As for who will win, I'm going for the underdog here and going for Darvin Moon. The guy is a pretty conservative player who's gotten a golden streak of cards. I like Ivey, I really do, but he has very little to work with chip stack wise and he's got a lot of other players with a lot bigger chip stacks. He's going to play agressive, and probably get his stack up eventually, but once he hits a bad streak of cards I think he will get knocked out.

I vote for phil. Not just because he is the only well named pro at the final table but because he is my favorite. Even though that he is low stacked he will always try to find a way to win. As long as you have chips in the tournament you definitely have a shot at first place. He is probably the most experienced.

I still cant believe that he made it to the final table. When was the last known pro to ever make it to the final table. I guess Mike Matusow bubbled was it last year??? I dont remember. I am gonna have to play the favorite here and say the pro will win it all.
