Anyone remember the NDN freeroll-a-thon?

It was a couple years ago at least, but I remember a fantastic all day event NDN had where they had a private freeroll every hour, and a private buyin every hour, for 24 hours. You got bonuses (I think) for finding the energy to play in all of them.

It was awesome...anyone remember? Any hope of it coming back?

I remember! I'd have to be pretty crazy not to remember though. That was a blast and I would do it again anytime!

Would anyone else be interested in another 24-hour poker marathon?

No doubt i would be interested. It would be a great way to RE-spark interest in the forum as you no those freeroll hungry players will join right away, and then later be captivated by what ndn has to offer

I will look into this further and see what it will take to get things going.

It would be nice to hold a poker marathon and then start up another poker tour right after.

I definitely remeber the marathon. It takes me back to the old NDN leagues. I've played in a lot of leagues but I have to say the leagues here were always the best. A nice mix of buy-ins and freerolls with some pretty quality players. Would love to have it get started again.

LOL. I played most of the tournaments that day, took a break to go to campus event where I met my current girlfriend and made like 300$ between tournaments and bonuses. We NEED to do that again.

That would be an interesting idea. I don't think I would be "allowed" to play for 24 hr straight but I would give it a try.

The Marathon and the poker leagues were great. Would love to see them come back.

Unfortunately I was not an active user at that point and I really dont even know what this "marathon" was but hope to see it soon as well if it was as of everyone's like this much
