Default Was in Atlantic City last night playing a cash game..

So I took an unplanned trip to AC last night with $200 in pocket. So I get to the Trop and find a $10 minimum Blackjack table. 11 vs 6 on the first hand, double down, up $20. 20 minutes later, I haven't won more than two hands in a row, and my first $100 is gone.

Screw this, I think, I've got a few more hours and tomorrow to think about so I'll go play a NL $1/$2 Hold 'Em game in the poker room, as the nightly tourny had just about ended.

I sit down, fold the first few hands, and then get dealt AsQc under the gun.

So I raise $5 to $7 from UTG and have 3 callers behind me. Board comes AcTc4d. So I bet $10, and again, three callers behind me. The turn comes Ad, tripping my aces. I bet $15 and this time, only two callers behind me. At this point the only thing I'm worried about is AK. River comes, 6d. At this point, I'm thinking ****, I've got this, so I bet $25. Again, both players call me.

We turn cards, I show my trip aces, queen kicker. The guy behind me shows Aces, 7 kicker. The guy behind him? 10 8 of diamonds.

I can't explain how pissed off I was about this. ~$200 in the pot at my last count before rake, which would have put me ~$50 in the black for the day. Dude called with 10 8 to a preflop bet and a caller in front of him. Dude called a bigger bet with 10s on the flop with a caller in front of him. Dude called an EVEN BIGGER bet with 10s and a draw on the turn with two Aces on the board despite a caller in front of him. Dude flushed his **** hand on the river.

This hand pissed me off so much that I've been running it back in my head over and over, and the only thing I wish I could do differently is bet higher on the flop with the club draw out there, and push on the turn with my AAAQ when there were 2 draws out there. Other than that, there was no reason for the guy with the flush to be in there calling my bets even as they were.

    Comments?

Needless to say, this put me on tilt and I lost my remaining $40-50 a few minutes later when I paired my aces and was betting it through, and check called my remaining $25 on the river. My opponent had Aces and hit his crappy 5 kicker to two pair the river.

I hate live poker. Players are even worse than they are online. :(

I was out the full $200 I went there with last night in approximately 45 minutes of gaming time.

Wow that blows!! it just makes you wonder what was going in that other guys head? did he think he would fill up right from the get go? did he think he had too much in the pot by the turn to dump it?maybe he thought you other two were trying to buy it so hang in there? its like on here(the web) you get pocket aces and maybe other guy forces you to put both of you all in then you get 3rd ace on flop and he gets a flush on the river with starting cards of 83 of clubs and you lose and just stare at the screen and say wtf?? 83 all in are you serious?? but happens every second of every day. thats when I have to stop and go frag some noobs in a video game to shake it off.

I wish it were online...I'd half expect it and I'd have about 1/10th the amount in the pot since I don't play nearly the same limits online as I do in person.

But yeah, the only explanation I could think of is that this guy wasn't very good at poker and didn't know what was going on. His $400-500 stack in front of him after that hand made me want to shoot myself.

I didn't sit down long enough to even have a waitress come around. :( Being the nice guy that I am, I did tip the dealer my remaining $2 when I lost the last hand.
