    Default chips

well. I have liked these systems at other sites, I will be interested to see my total, I have

some thoughts to add to other threads, so I will spend 30-45 mins to post, and we will see

what happens, 500 does seem high comparatively, but, until I follow the criteria, and see

how chips are accumulated, will I be able to make judgement. I did notice original thread

creator had 49 posts, thats no freeroll hound, 49 posts is admirable, I wounder what average is?

well when we were able to exchange chips for money 500 = $5. so its not that bad. it isnt meant for new members it is meant for long time members.

But Glo it's important to note that every long time member has to be a new member at some point! It takes hard work and dedication but it's something newbies can definitely attain!

I know you have, I just don't want new members to see that and think it's something they'll never be good enough for. On the other hand, if they don't try to get there, maybe it's for the best anyway? I don't know I just don't want to scare anyone off or make us sound too elitist or whatever. It's not because of what you said I just don't want it interpreted wrongly.

In my opinion I think the rules are set for a good reason. The point system has got me posting in the forum and logging in everyday and actually talking to people. Yes you do get points but you also get to know everyone that is involved in the forum which is a plus... I do have to admit I didnt agree with it before but I am glad that it has. Its got me doing something everyday...

Besides, its more of a reward for frequenters to the site, as opposed to one for random ppl lookin for freerolls.
If you stick around, and make some quality posts, 500 chips'll be nothin.

NDN will not post the password on the shop?
I think the password should be selled with a bigger time before, so we could buy the next game games already...

well yeah 500 seems like alot when u just show up today and try to post like a mad person. the way this is structured is for members that have benn consistent and loyal to the forum and make posts on a regualr basis. most of uf had chips already when this started for the month as you would have if u had posted here more on a regualr basis. u can t come in one day and expect to make posts and get 480 chips (i beleive u started with 20 today) to play the day of the game, also beware there is a fine line between spam and a post. 500 is perfect for this situation that you are doing. it is real simple stay vigilant over the long haul and you will be rewarded.

I don't think being able to buy chips would be a good idea. It seems to go against the stated intentions of the chip system. I also don't think 500 chips is too high, even though it means I rarely am able to play. It's only fair that those who contribute more get more.

It's really nice playing with such a small field and for the most part the play was much higher caliber than you see in freerolls. And I didn't see a single person say anything mean or out of line. I'm not sure I have ever played a tournament anywhere that I could say that before. Well worth the 500 chips.

Was a 6 person field last night. The FTP fields are usually higher than the Carbon/PDC fields.

listen, if you don't wan't something for free from this site, go somewhere else. NDN puts alot of work into this site...at first, i'll admit i didn't like the 500 chip ordeal for 25 bucks...but honestly its a single table MTT most of the time i have played so you post for a few days and you get to play in a freeroll with max 15 people...or you can sit at your comp and do nothing and wait to play for the same amount against 1500+ and waste 6 hours of your time...

Sorry I dont know how to show show a quote just yet -

But I wanted to ask something . It is rather hard for some of us who have busy lives outside of poker . kids / jobs / wives ect
Is there a way to earn these chips besides just posting to every board or topic ? Just wondering When I signed up a long time ago I knew you all had a spot where you could play games with your chips - Is this still n place ?

It would be nice to be able to play a private game but for some of us who dont sit here all day and respond to every post and thier reply our chips count stays in the 100-300 range ..

I suppose every place is different Just asking and wondering is all ,Thanks

Well theres the daily trivia,i think its paid monthly. We have the Bap if ya play poker, you can use cash to buy share.Yes it is hard but if it were easy how many folks would just sign up play win and never be seen again?NDN is a great site, with just a few quality posts you earn rep and chips get easier.
