    Default Enforcing BAP rules?

I am concerned about the enforcement of BAP rules.
There is talk of possible expulsion if a player fails to post a swing hand or winning hand.
I believe that everyone is trying to comply the best they can.
But, there are so many things that can prevent a person from posting.
    1. kids and family issues
    2. forgot
    3. don't know how
    4. only 4 players left and the game pace is too fast to copy and paint
    5. fast paced game and I got 3 huge hands in a row and can't find the time to post
    6. not very computer savy
    7. just plain slow or stupid

Because of all or any of these reasons, one could argue that it would be discrimination if anyone got banned from play for failing to follow rules.

It's almost impossible to enforce anyway.

What if someone breaks a rule 1 week and 1 more time 2 months later?
Does that count as two and your out?

Is that as bad as a blatent refusal to comply?

What if someone made an honest mistake and reacts poorly to a warning
or a blatent rule breaker brown noses and apologizes over and over.

My advise is to forget rules enforcement before a fight breaks out over this and anarchy takes over.
Instead of the word enforcement, try the word encouraged.
Members will stay much happier over the long run.

    What's more important?
The members comradery and happiness or a hierarchy authoritative forum that stresses everyone out?

Playing for the BAP is stressful enough already.

You know ringo i think they should. geez can i name some names? ah screw it i will. well we have sassy who said she played a $8 sit n go and bubbled and no one railed her so how do we know she actually played. she never posted when she played what tourney id nothing. now i think that could be considered theft. this is the 2nd time she hasnt posted hands. then there is asz who says that if he has to post hands then he wont play. he says if we dont want to enjoy his $1.80 profit wins then he wont win no more. well i say we dont need his $1.80 profit. we made rules for a reason and i am so sick of the **** that people are doing. u signed for BAP and read the rules. how difficult is it to post a fricking hand when your playing. it would all be solved if the wanna bes looking for a quick free buck would do there part. buncha crap. hey also we covered how to do hand posting at all allowed sites. if they dont know how to then should ask questions before playing right. we are all adults here. wtf

Well I think it's really not that hard for the rules to be enforced about this, and if people really do have something come up like Ringo said, they should just be open and honest with eejit or NDN about it. Plus most if not all poker sites can save your previous hand history, so if something comes up it's not really that hard to go back once someone shows you and post it again. There's no one saying that no one will help you post these hands, just that it should be done and in a reasonable time frame. There's no shame in asking for help. My advice would be to make sure your settings are to save hand histories before your game starts, and let someone in charge know if there is a problem. Another way to do this might be for someone who knows they'll have trouble knowing how to post designating one user ahead of time to rail that particular player and then somehow be able to have access to post their bust hand for them. We want the BAP to be open to players of all abilities, and this might be the way to do it. Thoughts?

well see the thing is there is no problems that people are having such as kids and stuff like that. geez i have kids and they dont bother me to that effect. the players that are in question dont have kids and just blatenly didnt post nothing. one actually typed a hand and how he played but how do we know its true. maybe he didnt bust and took it down and just didnt want to put the money back into the BAP. maybe another player Just took the money she got and never even played . weodnt know do to the fact they didnt post anything. no tourney id no hand nothing. i am gonna really have to think if i want to be involved in this now. i see dishonest people taking advantage of us.

    lol,
2 people voted that eejit should be flogged (I am one of them!)
Seriously, I think the bare minimum should be for people to post the tournament ID, bust out hand, place in the tourney and amount of money they won (if they cashed).
This doesn't sound like a difficult thing to do for anyone that is even a little computer literate.
If someone is unwilling or unable to do this even after the tournament has been completed, I think they should not get another turn to play until they post the information.
If they want to stay in the BAP and not have a turn, I guess that's fine.

Well banning someone on something this new is not a good idea IMO, however as stated they could make a practice post, at least post the tourney ID.I am for rules, but I think we need to just ride thru this for now, give the peeps a warning, let them miss a week.If they can't follow the rules then proceed with further actions.Globug is correct and all should agree,we need to see the bust hands, we need to see the big swing hands, and we need a tourney ID.This is simple stuff, for someone to say there not going to do it,well then something needs to be done.I love NDN,and the BAP we need rules to keep everthing straight and they need to be followed.
I played terrible the other day,I also posted those stupid hands I played. It's not that hard to learn,if ya don't know then ask someone will help.Globug I do not wanna see another leave, lets just chill and let the powers that be handle it .A couple good cashes will cool everyone off I think.

maybe a fresh approach might work with some unwilling to post.

Tell them that the more hands they post during BAP, the more easy chips you can build up quickly.

That is the easiest way to make chips.

Yeah, I was just thinking that. You can easily earn 50+ chips just for posting one hand, so why wouldn't you want to at least post the important hands and build up some chips for a freeroll or some other cool stuff?

i agrre with the bannig from BAP play if the rules can't be followed. But i feel the person doing this should xcuse him/her self on their own before it gets to that. I mean we've had 2 now and if you cant comply then stop playing....and i also agree that the sifting hand s should be posted but do the best u can with them...the important stuff is tourney # or name, dates, times (in EST), money won, place out, and pic or paste of going out hand and their site name...... but the in between hands are valuable(for giving advice to for benefit of all) to us but not life or death.

we do have some that cant manage doing the basic and they need to say I can't do it so "I need to stop playing mine" or "I need to sell my shares". the rules were in place since before shares were purchased and if you cant discern them and cant comply(do it self or get help from someone) to them, then you shouldn't have joined.

But ban a person from forum? I know NDN would not want that .. I and many more here wouldn't either. This is just one facet of the forum and any punishment should be contained with in it.

Let's settle this and move on.

I think they are talking about banning the person from the BAP, not the entire forum. But as mentioned before (and I think most people here agree), it is not necessary to even ban the person from the BAP. We can just tell people that they will be benched for their next game unless they post the basic information.
