I will definitely be doing that from now. Thanks so much. I am using my cards more for buying baby things and I will make sure to check everything on the receipt.
Thanks again, you probably are saving people money by bringing this up.

The nerve of some people. Some people will do the most pathetic things to get money. I would have never thought of such a thing. How low life can a person get? Thanks Poker Kitty I will check my receipt good before I leave the store from now on. Not only Walmart either but all of them.
I always use my debit card there and write in my total in my check book when I get home.
I am so suspicious of stores that I am verifying my reciept before I leave the store.Safeway is my problem child. I have to go to the customer service counter 1 out of 3 visits.
You have to be pretty lame to not notice a cash back on your reciept.
It does help if you spend under $100 there like I do. Easier to notice a discrepency.
Thanks for the heads up Kitty.
I will be even more cautious.
Thanks for the warning PokerKitty. I have always been one that checks my receipts as I am leaving a store. I also try to watch as things are rung up especially if it is something on sale.
Wal-Mart is the Devil. They should be avoided like the plague. If you ever want to piss off Wal-mart management, run into the store and yell, "Union! Union!" Just watch how quickly you're physically attacked by white trash.
FYI: Wal-Mart used to hire the elderly and/or people they thought were sick and take out life insurance policies on them as their "employer" so they could make money if the person died. It was called dead peasant insurance. The feds finally banned the practice about a decade ago.
