September means kids go back to school and finding a place to go apple picking!

We have a huge crop of pear trees here and they are ready to pick in October. Some apple trees, but on private property.

September in minnesota could mean a variety of things usually from the weather. It might be nice and mild all month with a little chill or it could be cold and raining with a hint of ice in it just to let you know whats coming.

The month of september usually signals a change in the very hot weather here in texas. The tempatures have dropped as soon as the 1st already, so I am especting that we may have another chilly winter for texas in these parts. Last year where we lived it snowed fairly decent, enough to cover the ground good, which was perty rare. September makes me hopeful, and since fall and winter are my favorite times of the year, I am in better spirits. My wife also loves the winter, and we love to get out and have some campfires, and snuggle up. Our daughter kylee was born in the winter, in november, and was three weeks old when it snowed. Some of my best poker ever was played in these times of the year, so we look forward to it.
