I think I will only play on the carbon games.
So the field will be very very small.. No more than 20 players for the first games. This is amazing.

Definitely some low fields. It may take a few games (perhaps a month even) for us to adapt to the changes and see how things work, but in the long run I hope to be able to limit the fields (or increase the prize pools) based on the amount of interest/activity.

Off course u have rep power.
And u have almost 900 chips.
That would make u able to play in almost 2 frerolls already.
To start a new thread u just go on the main menu with all the forum subjects, click in one of your choice, than click on the top of it "start a new thread" thats all.
I hope U have many things to share with us.

Maybe we can buy chips with poker winnings?????

If people want to play in each and every game then they will indeed have to work for it (that's kind of the goal though).

If you are on the lowest tier - You would need to make 6.5 posts at the maximum post award level to earn enough chips to play in a $25 game. Considering how difficult it is to make that long of a post without "spamming" I would say each member would need to make 15-20 decent posts each day to afford the freeroll.

That's not asking too much I don't think. And if you're making 15-20 decent posts a day - Your reputation is bound to go up quickly.

With that said, I may loosen the belt on reputation and/or increase the amount of chips you earn per level. Hell, I might even rid us of the reputations system for good. However, at the moment, the reputation system ensures that new members who are just looking for a password cannot get them.

This is a "test" month so to speak. I will of course modify anything that isn't working well. It's always a learning process, but we've always made things work for the benefit of the forum!

Don't forget that the chip amounts are subject to change! My goal is to monitor and change the amounts as needed to make sure each game remains of high value to the players.
