Default What should I do against such players? All-in luck donkeys.

    Hey.
I must asume sometimes I get luck too.
But how to play against an all-in crazy donkey player who always get luck?
    This hand for example.
Lost on the bubble on this sit and go. thats the 3 third time that I loose on this sit and go 2.16 buy-in.
After this hand that player won against another 2 other all in player with a worst hand.
(sometimes I think luck is so important in poker.. but to be dependable of it is complete donkeness)

What u mean he had the better hand?
A8 unsuited is better than KT suited? might be.
    But I had TOP pair.
He needed one out of 8 cards to win.
and he had the 1/8 luck factor to his side.
I made a better move than him on the end.
but u did not say me the best strategy against such a type of player.

the best strategy against a "donk player" would be to catch them with the nuts, hurt em real good and put them on tilt. Usually donk players dont have good composition after a hard loss against the nuts, and will soon go out there after, or go on a lucky streak before losing to a great hand again.

preflop he had the better hand, even if it was a coinflip. You got unlucky on the turn. Whenever i take a bad beat, i sit back and "walk-through" how the hand played out...look at the hand from his perspective.
From his perspective, when you limped under the gun, you are trying to disguise a big hand, PONTENTIALLY. Maybe AK, AQ, AJ, KQ. he's sitting there with A8 offsuit, when he flops middle pair...Is he really putting you on KT or AT??? I'm not...and when i flop middle pair im protecting my hand too.

I want to tell you how important it is to raise if you are going to enter a pot. Two things will probably happen here if you raise this hand preflop. 1. He will think about it and fold, thinking may have him crushed with Ace strong. OR 2. he will want to gamble thinking he may have you in a race situation, wich he did, and shove all in to protect his Ace-middle hand. Normally, if this wasn't a short handed table, i would tell you to FOLD FOLD FOLD. KT suited is a pretty hand, but it is a trap hand. That being said, if you decide to play KT suited under the gun, and limp in, be prepared to lose alot of times in a marginal situation such as this one. If you decide to play this hand at a full table, make sure you are raising to see where you're at in the hand.

That being said he only had to call 415 more post flop to win a pot of 850, it's an easy call on his part.

    great advice.
I learned something from this hand I guess.
I know that If I whant to win a hand I must be tight agrecive. I wast any of those two qualities.
I need to make more hand analysis and also be much more tight sometimes.
I fell like I get bored, iven after winning big pots, and sundaly I just go all in with a big chips leader just to loose a tournament that I have invested many hours already. That happend with me yestarday, I was on 7th place on the twiiter freeroll, and whent all in with almost nothing. And I lost. I was little pissed, but I knew I was on tilt. Playing loose after playing so well. I think thats a mental strenth all poker players must have until the end..

one of the best pieces of advice on poker anyone has given me was by "thenutzaa1", who told me when things get boring with poker and you've hit a rut in winning, take a weeks vacation from poker to recharge your mental aggression and overall poker decision-making.

Bh, he stole that advice from me, who in turn, stole it from some Pro i read somewhere

Navuta - Anyne makes the call there, you got unlucky.

Also - A8 is a favourite vs KTs preflop. And the beat isnt that bad. Not like he had 77 and rivered a 7 or something
