Default What did you eat for dinner?

Let's see if we poker players and NDNers have similar eating habits.
We have shared everything about each other, but we don't know what each other eats.

For a week or two post what you had for dinner.

    Tonight we are having:

    Cube steak (floured, seasoned)
    bake potato
    steamed brocoli
    sliced nectarines
    milk

It's official. You have no palette.

My favorite thing in the world is arugula salad with parmesan.

For dinner...filet mignon in a wine mushroom sauce. Trust me it's perfect everytime! Get a couple nice steaks (any kind works) put in skillet, sprinkle pepper, add 1 cup of cabernet wine, add fresh sliced mushrooms (onions if you like, I do) and cook slow to your liking. A loaded baked potato with broccolli and cheddar cheese, garlic bread on the side. A little cheese cake with chocolate sauce goes good with red wine too!!! She will love you!

For you pork lovers try this...I call them Party porkchops and they are perfect everytime.
Put your chops in a pan for the oven on 350 degrees, sprinkle with pepper, top with an onion slice, a lemon slice, squeeze left over lemons on chops, add a whole jar of chili sauce, cover and bake for about an 1 hour, depending on thickness. Serve with mashed potatos, and a veggie.

I have never served either of these dishes without someone asking me for the recipe! Try it, you'll love it!!

Parmasan is fine, but i prefer cheese to actually have some substance.

I like parmesan, just prefer others..

I had a steak with a baked potato...and a cherry coke for dinner.

And the reason I love parmesan so much is because its not overpowering. It compliments nicely, imo.

    Eejit

Make a pot of Ringos chili w/ celery for a nice crunch, the night before.
All you need to do is butter the rolls and pop the wine cork on date night.

Make sure you have the best ice cream in the world for dessert

Man I want to eat with you guy's. I have been eating the dollar menu at the fast food places for day's or that darn $5 pizza that only has a bit of cheese and a couple peperoni. I am so sick of it..... Wayyyyyyy sick of it. But it is convenient, cheap, and very unhealthy!

I can cook a good home made meal and I would love too... But you gotta have the ingredients to do so.

    Lori?????????

Is your kitchen broke and your pantry bear????

Don't put that crap in your one in only body of life.

    Food should be lavishly enjoyed.

Safeway has Necterines on sale for 69 cents a pound.
    today is the last day.

Buy 20 of them and eat 2-3 a day.

    You deserve it.

sweety u ever heard of top ramen thats way better than those things and its really cheap. or sandwiches. i hope PG&E didnt put u in a bind. when i eat good i usually get my food onsale. like about a week ago safeway had new york strip steaks on sale for like 60% off. so i purchased a $35 package of them for like $16. thats what i wait for then i package them in my sealer machine and freeze them for up to 3 months. i never buy things at full price. you can call me frugal. lol ill tell u this we arent getting any younger so u need to keep your body away from $1 menus and little ceasar pizzas. home emal can be cheap get a cheap piece of beef and get some potatoes and carrots, celery onions and make a stew. umm yummy. add bread to make it hearty.

I do eat fruit... because I live in the midst of several fruit orchards. Nectarines, peaches, prunes, kiwi so I am not lacking fruit.

Well thanks for asking about the PG&E. It does have me in a bind. $350.00 plus dollars every month for several months. This month $119.00 thank God. But truthfully there are other reasons that are causing the problem. However It will not help any if I start venting. There are many people with much bigger problems than I. Not that I am glad about them at all but it helps me too see and be thankful for my little ones.

Tonight I had a filet o fish sandwich from McDonalds and a fruit and walnut salad from there. I'm kind of addicted to the fruit things, lol.

The key to making kick-*** pasta is to mix your marinara sauce with alfredo. It makes it amazingly thick and creamy and wonderful! It goes well with either grilled chicken or meatballs. And we usually use penne pasta, it's the best. Klinkman is a pasta master!

Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow. The first time when you felt better Tony made you a great dinner. Maybe he will again! That would be nice.

Tonight I ate chicken Fried and mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and coleslaw.

Did I mention that one of my classes is a nutrition class. Great! I have to track my diet for 3 days on four different occasions during the semester. Using a diet analysis program to access my diet and tell me if I am getting the proper nutrients. It's a good thing I will be graded on doing the project and not on whether or not I am eating right. LOL
