    Default The modern hillbilly

    By Urban Dictionary

Opposite of Metropolitan. Usually found living in sparsley populated areas away from the hustle & bustle of city life. Hillbilly's don't give a **** what city folk think of them. Their apperance & what you think of them is not high on their priority list.

What is important to a Hillbilly?

    1. Having a good time with friends & family
    2. Not having to answer to anybody
    3. Spending time in the outdoors; either in the woods or on the water.
    4. Enjoying the finer things in life that money can't buy.

    A Modern Hillbilly is NOT:

    1. Uneducated (most have college degrees)
    2. a redneckneck
    3. white trashhite trash
    4. a wiggerigger
    5. likely to give you an expected answernigger
    6. poor or live in a shack

The Modern Hillbilly is a true bohemian who is not constricted by what the mainstream considers acceptable. They live by their own rules, similar to the "laws of the land".

Default What hillbilly food do you eat?

Once I opened a can of green beans, drained the water, poured in some ketchup. Yummm lunch. I only dirtied a fork

Another good one is when you go to a diner ask for water.
Pour in some ketchup, a little tabasco, salt and pepper and walla
    you have a snappy tom.

Love the post ringo thanks, alot folks do not know where the term redneck comes from so I will enlighten you guys. The term Redneck was used by a new york reporter, when the had the big battle between striking coal miners in W. Va, who wanted to unionize all the workers, as the working conditions, were bad and pay was worse.Anyways there was a battle I think on Blair mountain, all the striking miners wore red banddannas, thus the term RED NECK was born.Alot of hill folks are a little behind the rest of the country, but I dare you to find a better bunch of folks.HILLBILLYS rule!

omg ketchup and beans. u mine as well used your fingers so u didnt have to use a fork. that would have made it better. u know the funny thing is i tried this before. but with fresh green beans and kecthup and it was simmered for a bit. someone made in place of a green bean casserole this past year at thanksgiving. i never thought a hillbilly was a wigger i always called them crackers.
