I like my Cleveland pick over Minnesota even better now in week 1.
Astro turf is not in Farves comfort zone.
I think Vick would have been a better choice.
I am sorry NDN, it will make for an amusing season.
The Vikings have the talent and maybe Favre can give them leadership.
I don't mind Favre playing and I think we will do well.
We all could have done without all the random drama - but at least he found a way to avoid camp - gotta give the veteran credit for that (even though his new teammates don't appreciate it).
I'm up for another year of Favre. He does make the NFL more interesting. Maybe it'll bring John Madden out of retirement too since he has such a man-crush on Favre. The best thing about the Favre signing is that maybe we will hear less about Michael Vick.
being lifetime minnesota resident and viking fan farve was ALWAYS considered the devil.those of you not familiar minnesota and wisconsin have a ton of border battles going on in every sport. I never ever thought i would see the day he would be a viking!! But I will look at the positive side and that he knows our system blindfolded so thats working for him and if we are lucky enough to get wins with him it will be all good. I think the biggest issue is health, I think he is still hungry to play and to be great but will his body keep up to the mind we will see. His age will be the X factor I think because im around the same age and im here to tell you a day of pounding my dirtbike to death takes me ALOT longer to heal than it did at 20yrs old lol. I do think even if your not a fan of the vikes or green bay it will be something to see him go onto the field at lambo wearing a vikings jersey in a ocean of cheeseheads where he made his mark and developed his fan base!! should be interesting to say the least.
Minnesota is the fightingest State I ever seen.
I went to White Bear Lake Jr high and fighting was survival.
I went to Olsen Jr High in Bloomington and there was a fight everyday.
We played Hockey, we fought.
We played football, we fought.
We bumper dragged behind trucks to get to school.
Minnesotans are some tough people.
