ok #1: Vick served 18 months(?) for torturing and killing dogs for 6 years.. hmm doesn't really sound like the punishment fit the crime but that wasn't for me to decide; #2: Only reason he stopped is because he got caught. That is not remorse, that is equivalent to a brother apologizing to his sister for kicking her because Mom saw him do it; #3: Like all professional athletes, Vick is in a role model position; young children look up to him and idolize him. He is absolutely not someone I would want my children looking to as a role model. His crimes were horrendous, we're not talking about rolling a stop sign here. I do believe that he should be able to get on with his life, but I don't believe he should do it in the public eye and I certainly don't think he should be getting millions of dollars to do it.
