I love the idea of the losers league. I've never seen anything like it and praise whomever thought up such a thing.

I'm picking Tennessee to lose to Pittsburg on Thursday first game of the year. It might be the only game they lose all year.

The rest of the year will be easy to pick a different loser each week.
There is 17 weeks and at leat 20 losing teams.

I see several people undefeated at the end of the season.
I really think you should reconsider the rules NDN in regards to the playoffs.
Everyone left playing will have all the winning playoff teams left to choose from and if they don't tough break.

You'll soon see just how tough this contest actually is. In every year that we've run it here (and in the many years that I've been a part of it in a local league) there has always been two sessions because everyone is done mid-way through the season.

The playoff rule is an integral part of the contest (you'll see - you'll see).

I have a buddy of mine who is a football pool maniac; he has never heard of a pool like this one, and he is going crazy over it. He wants me to give him weekly updates as to how it is progressing, how many people are playing/left, etc. We already had our first argument tonight about which teams to pick for week one and week two, though injuries will have some bearing (perhaps a lot of bearing if it's a star player) from week to week.

Maybe he should become a member of NDN and play too! Just a thought.
