Correct. The first phase of changing things around consists of adding daily, weekly, and monthly poker freerolls with real money prizes. You will buy the passwords with your chips (they will cost more than our old chips games used to) and the payouts will be done like any other regular freeroll.

I hope to get the schedule up this week with games possibly starting on the 17th.

will u be able to get rid of anyone that did not buy password through you? hope so! maybe like a ticket thing . oh well no sense worrying about things that havent ahppened yet....

good concern. i didnt even think of that but then again they will cost more than the chips games so it would be hard for someone to buy one.

The games will cost more than usual so it will be extremely rare for someone who is new and looking to steal a password to obtain one in the first place.

I have (or will) change the default starting chips to zero for new members. They will then need to earn reputation before they can start earning chips and buy the passwords.

This will help make sure that fields for the games are low and only active members will be able to play them.

I suspect that anyone in the games will be active members who earned their way in and deserves to be playing!

I'm looking forward to getting in some of these new tournaments. Very happy to see the measures NDN is taking to make sure that the freeroll hunters are held at bay. Anyone that spends time around this forum will realize that being active here is much better than popping in for pw's when they see one in a poker site lobby.
