lol nope red sox = 2009 world series champions. what i meant by those 8 games was when the season first started the red sox swept all 8 from the yankees. yankees have since been on a hot streak but in baseball it doesnt matter the record that you close the season with its how you do in the playoffs that count. besides the yankees always buy their team every season

You can't even front. You know, as a Red Sox fan, you're nervous as hell about the season. The Yankees need to finish with .500 baseball to eclipse 100 wins despite starting 15-17 and without a doubt are the best team in the AL. If the World Series isn't NYY-STL then there was a huge upset somewhere down the line because they two teams are far and above better than every other team in their leagues.

I hope Texas passes the Sawx for the wild card, though!

i am more worried about the rangers than i am the yankees because good regular season or not good regular season the yankees always choke in the end and never take down the championship. ever since joe torre left that team has been over and done with thats why they need to go out and buy the most expensive players that they can to try and boost their failing team. also not to mention the new yankee stadium they built is like a little kids wiffle ball stadium so yes i can see why they are winning and doing good lol. either way if red sox win then they win if they dont then they dont i just dont care as long as any team other than new york wins the championship then im happy

You're talking out of your bum.

They Yankees always choke? It only been a decade since the epic late 90s and this team rivals that '98 team.

Ever since Joe Torre? Maybe you missed it, but the Yankees didn't win crap with Torre at the helm his last 7 years. He was a horrible manager anyway. A monkey could have managed those teams to championships. Buy the most expensive players? You're not some small market team. Take a look at your own team before ragging on the NY salary.

And another Yankee Stadium comment? Hate to break it to ya, but the other team bats there too. And the HR totals have been way off the pace they have been from the first month, but you wouldn't know that because you heard them talking about home runs on ESPN in April and you've been repeating that story ever since.

And if you don't care who wins the World Series as long as its not NYY, I doubt your dedicated to the Red Sox.

You're a brain washed Bostonian. Nothing more, nothing less. And your team is subpar and would get spanked by the Yankees in the playoffs.
