    Unhappy 8 Game???

Hoping someone can help me...I've been mostly playing on PokerStars lately (when I actually have time to play) and keep seeing something called '8 game' anyone know what it is? I love trying new games but in the past when I've played something new I've had a friend talk me though it first but I don't know anyone that plays '8 game'

I believe it's just 8 diffrent games,NL,FL,PL,mixed holdem,Omaha, omaha h/l,razz,sevencard.I think I haven't played now but I am pretty sure thats what it is.You have to be well scholled at several games to comete,I would assume.

The 8-game rotation on stars is FL Holdem, Omaha High/Lo, 7 card Stud Hi, Stud Hi/Lo, Razz, Triple Draw Duece to 7, Pot-Limit Omaha Hi, and No Limit Holdem.

The difference between it and HORSE is that it adds Duece to 7, NLH and PLO to the rotation.

Deuce to 7 is a lowball game where Ace is high. Straights count as high so the best hand is 2 3 4 5 7. Fun game, especially the triple draw version. I wish Fulltilt had it since I don't play at Stars anymore.

I've played a few of these at Poker Stars. I suggest hitting the play money tables and getting used to the games you are unfamiliar with. I tried just playing with real money to figure it out and I didn't have much success until I practiced my weaker games for a while. Once you know all the games I think playing these SNG's are great. They definitely break up the monotony of playing NL Hold em game after game.
