    Default railing

has anyone ever heard of railing in poker well my friend did it and gave me a free 8 had to watch him at a table he went from 15 to 96 dollars it was fun i might try it. For those who dont know its you shadow someone a friend at a table and when they get up to a certail point they transfer a percentage like he started with 15 he said once he got up to 60 hed give out 5 dollars to everyone who rails him well i did but i stayed the longest for a whole 8.00 lol. Which i spent on off course pot limit omaha. I also played a 2.20 bounty 6 handed was heads up i raise with jacks he goes all in with q8 needless to say he rivered me eck. I called him a lucky a but least i came in second. If anyone has heard of that let me know

Ive railed people and advised them on games and moves, but i dont charge a set rate. People just throw me money for things i help them with i guess.

Never heard of it being done like this though.

So if he had 4 people railing him, he would pay all 4 of you?
Why? What is he getting for his money?
    Are you a poker pro?
    Does he need advise?
    I don't get it.

I always thought of railing as something you just do for a friend. Paying someone for it seems strange. To be honest, while I appreciate the intention, I generally find railers to be a distraction. In fact I now find all chat distracting and have shut off my chat at most sites. Mostly I was just sick of all the whining.

yeah i thought railing was just showing your support,i.e. cheering from the sidelines.wouldnt paying for that be like paying ppl to be your fans?.and how would this help you win money?maybe there is a side of this railing that i dont know about
