    Default Filling My FullTilt Bonus?

I'm playing in a couple SnG's at FullTilt right now, trying to slowly but surely earn my bonus! It's hard because my bankroll is so small (around $50), I can only play microstakes tournaments, which don't give you many points at all, I think only one or two per tournament. Does anyone have any advice which ones I should play? And yes, they need to be on FullTilt, not Carbon or something lol. Thanks.

    $5 sit and goes.
You have enough to play ten.
You should cash in 3-6 of them min.
    That's what I would do.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm a profitable sit-n-go player. I've lost 15 in a row before. Her bankroll is not enough to play that high.

Ok Tay what I did at stars"before I got greedy" was to start small say 2 or 3 dollar ones, try to place in two in a row, then move up to say a 5 or 6 dollar one,if I lost I would go back to lower stakes,I worked my way way up.This was when I was off work for 6 months.I deposited 50 dollars, started with the 3 dollar 18 man, ended up with a nice roll, played in the sunday million, the 500, played alot 55 dollar sngs.I think time and patience is the key,if ya have a day when the cards are running well you can move up pretty good, gotta stay in your limits tho, splurge just a little if ya get lucky press a little more.Never ever get into your deposit in the bigger sngs work your way up,I know you can do it.Thats just my advice,I'm no pro but it does work for me.

sorry tay but thats going to be the the problem you going to run in to with that bankroll. i would suggest you grind away at the small level sng's until your br allows you to move up. it sucks because you dont get as much points for the small ones but its better to grind away a little at a time and not risking losing your bankroll then to play above what you bankroll allows. i would really hate you to play above y our head and blow you wad. look at it this way cuz if you play above your head and lose you will have to either

    a. be broke and not even get the bonus you wanted
    b. have to redeposit so you can do your bonus

I should mention that the bonus I'm referring to is their promotion bonus that they gave to some people when they did the huge software update recently. I've never actually made a deposit there, the money I have is from NDN winnings. It doesn't change the situation any though, but I thought I'd just clarify that.

I want to get some more opinions first, but after reading these it seems like the answer is some happy medium between what you said and what Lilred posted- that is, to keep grinding until I can get my bankroll up a little, then try some slightly higher limits- if I lose on a few of those, I'll go back down.

I want to hear what eejit has to say though when he gets back, and I'm still open to advice from others of course! But those are my thoughts. Thanks to everyone who's advised me so far.

ok Tay I don't tell on myself alot,as you know I stopped playing mostly for awhile for various reasons.I recently made a 40 dollar deposit at stars, mainly to buy into the bap,I also used my full tilt points to win an 10 dollar seat which I traded in for tourney dollars.I sent ND 25 for shares in the bap on the day of the deposit,I sent ten more last night also for bap shares.I have more at stars now than I did when I deposited which was last thursday I believe,at tilt playing 3 dollar sngs I have about 20.I am ready to move up at stars, this system works Tay just takes time .one more time start small place in two in a row move to a slighter bigger one, then follow step one again,if you lose start over.

well some thing i would do also is say i am playing $2-$3 sng's and say i win 2 in a row or cash 3 in a row i would reward myself with 1 higher buyin and see what happens. what i meant about depositing was that if you play higher then your bankrolll allows you and you hitting a losing streak which can happen to the best player then you just lost your bankroll or most of it and will lose out on that bonus unless you cash in more chips for money there or deposit there to get more funds on there. Anyways i wish you the best of luck in clearing that bonus.

3-5 % of your bankroll is way to safe in my world.
I say go up to 10 % if you feel good and you play well.
If you wipe out your bankroll, start from scratch again and learn to get better. If you keep going through your bankroll, it's time to forget about bankroll management. Time to budget how much you can afford to spend on your poker hobby.

If you play tight poker you will at the very worst break even every 10 SNG played

to earn the most FTP's its in cash games...you get more per hours playing cash then anything else......if you ever noticed pros who have alot of PTS....( dario Mineri).....guy who earned enough in 1 year to get a porcha.....all he did was play cahs mostly

well your best way of filling it is to play low stake cash games. like 3-4 at a time and then u will fill it fast. tourneys will only u a x amount for everyone u play. just my 2 cents.

If you can make money playing cash, then that is the best option. I would recommend playing very tight and multi-tabling. You get points so long as you were delt into the hand. You can fold for hours and earn points the whole time.

Well I sit at the .25/.50 nl tables and I have only 10 dollars left in my bonus. So by the end of the night I should be done with the free 100 bonus. That is just me I do not know what you like to play in.
