well they forgot to mention to keep your kids on a leash also. i mean a 40ft python against a 2 year old. that like feeding it a mouse. so sick. well pokerkitty i hope u dont any pythons running around.
OMG!!! Just last week a pet python got out of its cage and killed a little baby girl. They held the top of the cage down with only a quilt and in the middle of the night, the snake got out and climbed into the baby's crib. The next morning the man got up and found the snake wrapped around the little girl, she had be suffacated and had bite marks on her head. The snake tried to eat her. The man actually had to stab the snake to make it let go, but by then it was way to late. Police are trying to decide on what kind of charges to bring against him. You're right, these snakes just need to be killed, period.
Well if they were native to the area it would be another thing. This is also throwing off natures balance in the Everglades.Did anyone see the snake that tried to eat the gator,it busted open trying to swallow it,what if that had been a grownup? The guy that let the snake kill his kid, should be treated just as if he had let the kid get a gun.I mean obviously he knew the snake could harm the child right?
I did see the photo of the snake trying to eat the gator. It was gross! Snakes do not belong in the house, especially around me or children! I'm sure the guy will be in big trouble. He has lost his child, he probably doesn't even care.
That is just awful! OMG I can't even imagine having a snake as a pet. Don't people know that they crawl on their belly for a reason. There is a reason that snakes do not have legs. And they slither! It makes me sick. Plus they scare me to death. I could not imagine waking up to find my baby girl dead because my pet snake killed her.
People should just not keep snakes as pets, they are way too dangerous. Did you see the news story I am talking about? It happened somewhere in Florida.
No I didn't see the story. If it was on TV that would explain it because I don't watch TV right now as we don't have any cable and no reception for using an antenna. So it kinda sucks. And as for the internet I usually see my home page and NDN and FB or school or banking. Never see any news. What would I do in the event of an emergency? I don't really know. But I am taking your word on this. I would prob believe pretty much any thing from you! lol
Any way it is such a tragedy, him loosing his baby girl to a flippen pet snake.
WAKE UP FLORIDA
There are 100,000 Pythons and growing daily.
Your government officials are spending thousands of $'s to catch tag and release 1 snake at a time.
They would save money with a $100 bounty and eradicate this danger in no time.
What's it going to take to see the danger?
Man, am I glad I don't live in Florida.
I would be scared to hunt them with a gun.
