I stand here unable to move.
I watch you cross the room,
the room behind you seems to disappear,
the only sound i hear are your steps and your breathing,
At that moment i realize i am not breathing.
How long have i not?
Has it been just a moment?
How long can i stay this way?
As you make your way pass my line of sight
the room comes back into view.
It's sounds are almost deafening.
I breathe!
I turn around to find you.

wow no one....i came in from raking and just started writing.. i was trying to light a leaf pile and it took my breath away .... i thot of song u take my breath away ..... I have been melancholy since eejit left .. maybe its that? when is he coming back? lol

ok when i posted this on the forum i was on and off IM with an online friend of mine ....we got to watch the cubs marlins game last night ... bad for him great for me....
Im so mean i had to say to him at one point ..."how do u know when a marlin is gonna get a hit?" he said how I go "they have a bat in their hand" i thought that was great



but i was able to top it after his closer was thru that night ... cubs were up ...bottom of ninth ...marlins got back to back HR's .... Im a really goo friend grab salt and say ...."how do you know when a marlin is gonna hit a home run?" he says how i say "Gregg is pitching" i am soooooooo mean!

That poem was beautiful. I bet you have more. I have a friend who called me and made up his own song for me...You take my "breast" away. I was laughing so hard, I told him he has to put it in writing and send it to me. When I get it, I'll post it.
