As for calling to see what he had???

Do you honestly call off a large % of your chips to "see what someone had", how is that information gonna help? He 99.999% of the time has you beat, and if he doesnt, YOU HAVE EIGHT HIGH
    I get that.

But do you understand that this was .0001 percent to call and it paid off.

Probably not but this was a freeroll.

I just want to stress that, because playing in a freeroll and playing in a real money game is completely different.

And you change how you play.

YOu can say you don't, but I think you do for two reasons.

Because a, when you are in a freeroll, you are just playing based on your time.

If you have nothing to do for the night, a freeroll might sound fun.

And b, when you are playing for cash, your poker bankroll that you have online is somewhat at risk depending on how big your bankroll is and how much the tournament cose to get in.

If you still don't see my point we agree to disagree, yeah?

no matter what calling with 8 hig is just craz but who really cares i guess its the steps thing on th emerge site which is not even worth the time its to put in it but i guess if your bored and feel like playing dumb then go ahead and donk away. i think eejit made a great point about the hand but it was the fun steps and you had nothing to lose and you sem to not really care if you won or lost this sng. i mean heck you ca nalways buy another ticket with with your play money.

It's all about getting attention, good or bad.
It's a very thin veneer of deception.

well i dont think the chip games are freeroll. i mean you buy in with chips and the chips have a value and i know some people dont understand the vaule of the chip here but i wouldnt ever consider the ndnpt games freerolls although there are a few who dissagree.

Why would you play games where you can earn real money if its "just for time", when you can play for play money the same.

Also, if you can deposit and play normally, why not?

    This just makes no sense.

And because something worked out the 0.001% of the time that you did it, does that make it right?

Ask any poker player and they agree. Ask anyone! Results do not mean you played it right. Calling 3 all ins with 1010 preflop is the same, they will have hands that beat you, you will have odds of about 8%. Say your vs AA AK ad KK, and the flop comes 10 3 3 4 5.

That means you won, but the move was stupid.

    Make sense?

You know this already, but I feel like the chip games are definitely not freerolls as well. As you say chips are worth real money, so we are buying in to the games. This is also true for the NDN poker room, but almost no one seems to understand that. *shrug* Does no one here use their chips for anything but casino money or what?

I don't understand how my play is worse than the guys for betting all the way with 23 offsuit.

If I won the hand, and I did I think I played it better than he did.

Does no one see that side of it?

And I didn't post it to get attention, ringo.

I posted it to show, I'm not the only "bad" player as you lot like to point out sometimes.

And I can deposit with my own money but I haven't done so lately because I am waiting on my pay check because I had to pay rent, etc.

I know you guys wanted to know that part, lol.

its not the point of who played worst. you both played like donkeys in this hand and you got lucky and won with 8 high. now if you had played the hand right and he played like a donkey, then i truley feel people wouldnt be talking so much about you play.
