    Default Online tells

Here are someone online tells, i gather from books and other poker players!

Fake Wait: Is when a person waits waits waits and then raises almost has a strong hand. same goes if he checks then he has a weaker hand. Most of the time it is for strong hands.

Quick Call: A super quick call to a strong bet is often a flush draw or straight draw.

Deceptive screen name: Someone using a screen to appear a type of style and then play the opposite style. fro example bluffer1111 seem that he bluffs alot because of his name, but is actually very tight!

Super big or super small buy in: people that seem to buy in with thier whole bankroll (navuta at the bad beat table joking) are not in the state of mind to make good, rational decisions. they are driven by ego or tilt or both.
people who buy in for a min. is trying ti double up very quick and looking for the right spot.

i hope this helps some poeple. feel free to add any online tells.

To add to this. I also find that when people decide that theyre gong to "make a play on you" they often act very quickly. Like if a person believe syou're just putting in a continuation bet on the flop they're likely to quick call here, and quickly push in on the turn. Some people will get it in their head that for this particular hand, they are going to push you out of it. Whether it be your chip stack, playing style, or they just peg you on folding if they push. More often then not, I find that after someone makes a quick call, i quick raise is coming,, and more often than not the bets arent that big. Someone will call you for 600 on the flop, and then when you check, a quick 900 bet or something will come out.
I find that when you have someone with a slightly more agreesive style, this will happen more than not. IF you find someone quick calling you, then putting a slightly larger quick bet in on the turn or river; i always find that waiting for a moment, and then putting in a small raise 1.5x , 2x; youll buy the pot. So im saying if someone quick calls you on the flop, you got a good piece of it, and then tries pushing you quickly on the turn, theres a good chance that they are just making a play. You have to come back, but not too strong, just strong enough to look like his bets dont scare you at all, and youre trying to get money out of your good hand. The same people that try reading people and taking pots, are the same who will try and make good laydowns off their read. Play it like you want a call, and youll bluff the bluffer out of it.

all i can say is be wary of these ringing true all the time .....a lot of players know them and utilize their meaning to make u think u are getting these results.... all the tips and best hands to play and potion betting strats are all good and u might be able to say they are true over 50% of time making them the right play ..but remember that the player/s you are up against have all this info too, or not, making manipulation of this also a factor

Thats the great thing about poker. you can put someone on a bluff, or sense someone is trying to buy the pot, and reraise them accordingly. but on the flip side, that same bluffer can put u on a bluff or a stab at the pot, and reraise you. Ive definately seen some bluff wars go in a hand until theyre both all in, and they flip over... well... marginal hands at best.
I think EEj a while ago was talking about the levels of poker playing. Like level one is being able to read your hand, level 2 is reading their hand, level 3 is reading them reading your hand; its something like that. The real poker players are able to put their chips in regardless of their hands, knowing what you think their hand is, or knowing what your hand is, or what youre prone to do with it. It becomes less about your cards, and more about the information you have, and the moves you make. A 2000 bet on the river can take a pot, while in the same hand, a bet of 1200 might get u a reraise or a call and youll lose. The margin for error is pretty slim. Thats what its all about! sometimes the cards you have are secondary to your reads. Ya stick to tight agreesive play, and when you have a good read, you follow through with it.
