As far as the sue happy idiot goes, maybe there is something that yall could sue him for, like intentional defamation and blackmail. If i was your dad i dont know what i would do, probably just sell the house, move down the street, and try to find anything low down dirty and shameful to use against this guy, plus tell whoever buys the old house whats going on and give em the heads up.
