We’re bringing together the 16 finest poker playing nations from The Americas for the ultimate battle in the inaugural Americas Cup of Poker (ACP), playing for $250,000 in prize money!

It’s Nation vs. Nation as The Americas fight for their place in the ACP live final at the Cerro Catedral Ski Resort in Patagonia, Argentina.

How to qualify
The 16 nations are divided into four groups of four who will play head to head in daily freeroll, $0.20 and $5.50 qualifying tournaments. Round 1 matches begin on July 27, and you can find them all under the ‘Tourney’ > ‘Regional’ tab in your PokerStars lobby. Click here to see the full details.

Fund a Friend
Give your country’s qualifying chances a boost by making sure all your friends play! Use our ‘Player to Player’ transfer feature (conditions apply) to transfer as little as $1 to a friend so they can play in a $0.20 tourney and join your national fight for points. For every player you send a transfer to who then makes a final table in a $0.20 tourney, you will receive $50!

yeah i got this too and went to look for tourneys ....couldnt find them ...Have u? If you are looking for a friend to bankroll im your girl ...... can't remember how that works ..you get something if they place right...?

so ..always looking for an angle could we all send the same dollars to get us all in and qualify us all for the 50 dollars if one of us wins .... so one starts sends a dollar to all of us willing to play then they sned their dollars they get to qualify all the members and some how have the original dollars get back to the original sender.....hmmm ok math wiz ....EEEJJ>>>> set this program up for us

Sounds like a really cool promotion. I dont play at pokerstars anymore, but the way things have been lately, if they keep throwing up all these cool promotins im gonna have to go take a peek sometimes, and see what all the fuss is about.

The way I read it, you have to have your own money, not transfered money. Sent to someone with less than .20 cents in thier account.
They play the .20 Cent turney and get to the final table and whoever sent the first transfer gets $50 in thier account.
That way the player gets money from the final table and the one that transfers get his also.
Quess it will be at least $1 transfered and hope, hope, hope you gave it to a pro. LOL
For a buck it might be worth it if the player can show that they are a winner and not always first out. LOL

well hey eejit when u come out to french lick then u can use the address that u are at and join. lol french lick dude u are clser the frenchies in france then u are to ones in the US. but hey thanks for the info. i just got mine also. dont think i would travel to argentina though unless diego maradona came back to playing soccer.

There are three daily tournaments to this.

They are at 20:30, 21:00, AND 21:30.

I just checked and these are the times for all of them, only one tournament of each a night.

So 20:30 is the freeroll.

21:00 is the $0.20

and 21:30 is the $5.50.

I hope that helps everyone and lets them know.

Nice. Poker stars does great promos. I got an email from them a few days ago, and all i had to do was take a quiz, and i earned silver VIP status. They also are doing the PPA freerolls. I took five dollars in the 3500 one, and theres a 10k one on august 2nd. Its registering fast, so hurry up!
