Dog skunked

My dog got sprayed by a skunk this morning in the face.
Anyone know the best way to remove smell from him?
Poor boy, he needs our help soon.

I guess that there are Tons of info on google about it...
But ok, here we have a basic formula.

1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide 1/4 cup Baking Soda 2 tbsp Dish Detergent. The stuff for washing dishes in the sink, not something for dishwashers. Mix the ingredients in a large bowl, because it will boil up like Vesuvius. We are, after all, making an oxygen generator. Wash the dog with this while it is still foaming, because it is the oxygen which reacts with the thiols in the skunk stink to neutralize the odor. If it sits around, it will loose it's efficacy because the oxygen boils off. Don't try to store it in an airtight container, because it will blow up. The brew also works for clothes, humans and unlucky cats.

Bandit is my Great Pyranees dog
Deers are my friends problem and I will taking him 10 bars of Dial soap
this week.

i seen jhonny knoxville on a episode of jacka$$ once use canned tomato sauce to get rid of skunk spray after he purposely got sprayed.

funny thing i was reading this today and about 10 mins ago i went outside to smoke in the back and i heard something and looked by the house and it was a skunk. it scared the living crap out of me. i ran in like a little school girl. my fiance was looking at me like wtf. i told her what happen and she told me i was sleeping outside if i get sprayed by a skunk.

LOL target. What a sweetheart you got :-p. Although i dont know who could stand the smell.
went camping once, that is to say, some friends and i got drunk in the woods, and i go in the woods outside the campsite to take a piss. I hear a rustle close by, nothing big, but enough to scare me while im taking a piss. Never saw the bastard, but as i peed on myself trying to get away he doused me. Smelled awful, my friends could barely stand it. If i wasnt so drunk it woulda probably been worse, but they definately didnt let me sleep in the tent . I pretty much just passed out outside near the fire and slept. Was horrible when I woke up though :-p
