Default Why should I take notes?

I play with the same peopleall the time it seems.
Yet, I don't make any notes.

I used to make notes and after a while, the notes were very similar to "lucky donk".

I want to start making notes, but I don't know what to note about.
Any advise on what to write about in the note section of individual players?

    What not to write?

I only take notes on more successful players.
I record their bluffs, and bluff attempts, but that's it. Since, players will change their style of play without anyone even noticing. Most things you can just use your memory to recall anyways.

    Good post ringo!

this is what i would do:

Step one i would have category's for example 1-5 and 5 being a top pro level and 1 being shouldnt even be on the table!

step two i would get really into details about, betting patterns, if they click auto fold or check, and basic stuff!

step three i would make note weather they make profit or dont! check shark scope.

just go into detail about everything a player does! if the limp with 67suited.

    i hope this helps ringo!

I penned a piece a while back about note taking in the tips section. To be a nice person I decided to post a link here. I've played poker for 6 years and found the value of note taking fairly early on. I've learned through experience what works for ME. That is the biggest key to note taking. Find what works for you and develop an easy to use system to make the process faster.

    Here is the link:

    Hope this helps you.
