I have a deer problem and thought of using Bobcat Urine to keep them out of garden.
Has anyone used this method to repel deer?
Any other suggestions?

Here is some interesting info. but prob a lil late for this method. Still good info.
(Keeping deer out of your garden).
Here is a link that seems a little more feasible at this point. Also very interesting. (HOW TO KEEP DEER OUT OF MY GARDEN? - Yahoo! Answers).
And I have also read about coyote urine. Your guess is as good as mine. But see what you think of the ideas above.

build a scare crow with moving arms and just put it up. i am sure the deer will take off but then again you live out in the stick deers probly come up to your hand to feed.
If you have bears in your area using beer atrractant or urine will work really
well, or just sit outside on your back porch or whatever, and go hunting!
Im no expert, but i have a feeling that the urine of whatever natural predator(s) to the deer you want gone will work. I had a friend who wanted to keep his plants safe from scavengersand he (they) had used wolf urine. I suppose the scent of any natural predator to the deer will drive them away, in fact im quite certain of it.... Also maybe try using a scarecrow but for deer. I figure a giant evil looking santa will do the trick, id stay away if i were a deer
I just read a study they did and found that Dial soap hung from trees works as good as anything else.
Also cheap way is to blend 1 gallon of water with 2 eggs and let stand for 24 hours.
Deers hate smell of rotting eggs.
I like cheap/
I googled for you and searched "repel deer from garden" and these were the most frequent suggestions by many of the sites I pulled up.
I hope this was good for you and helped you a bunch.
Get a fence at least six feet around your garden if possible. If it's practical that is. If it's too large it may not be practial because of the cost but that was mostly the first thing that popped up on every site I looked at.
An interesting thing I discovered was the following...
Deer don't like the smell of raw eggs, fish products, kelp, or ammonia. Any spray made from these products can be used. Just mix the product of choice in water and spray the plants to be protected.
Deer don't like the smell of soap either. Some gardeners have especially found success with Dial and Zest brands.
Hang fragrant fabric-softener strips, and small nylon bags filled with human hair on trees around the garden.
I find the dial and zest soaps are going to be the easiest for right now because you probably have soap at your house already.
So there you go, ringo!
the best and only sure way that i know of keeping deer out is a tall fence maybe even taller than 6 ft. made of something like chicken wire. hope u figure out a solution
See I wasn't the only one with the fence idea.
Glad to know that actually.
