I missed you Ringo, plain and simple. You add alot of flavor to NDN. You say what you have to say no matter what and I like that in a person. You keep it real around here. Welcome back. Hope to c-ya at the tables soon. Oh yeah...where did you go and did you miss us as much as we missed you?

I will post pictures later, when everything is complete.
But I am almost done with our bathroom at cabin.
Did texturing and painting and 1/2 the plumbing.
Installed lighting and vanity and turned shower door around.
Next weekend should be done with our new bathroom.
Place should be worth close to $200,000 after that.
I paid $89,000 6 years ago. We are putting it up for sale next spring.
Hopefully it will take 1 year or 2 to sell.
We have 3.6 acres and a neighbor has his really well kept place with only 2.6 acres listed at $499,000.

9144 Dixie Valley Road, Chilcoot, CA, 96105 - MLS ID#200900862 - Single Family Home real estate - REALTOR.com®

That light green interior is the same color I painted over in new bathroom.
    Yuck
He also has the only grass lawn in the valley. Alot of maintenance there.

My parents own 45% of my cabin when they paid off my note for $32,000 2 years ago when I lost my job. I need $40,000 to pay them off and can't afford too.
So selling is best option for everyone.
I put $50,000 down on the place when I bought it and should get very min. out of it $75,000. My wife and I will then buy a house here in Susanville. The market is just right for us to sell and then buy.

We need to have a party up there next summer.

sounds like a great plan, and fixing it up will add great value to it. If you can

stick that baby on a national market, as alot of people would love to live

    down there.
