Default Pokerstars / Full-Tilt Freerolls Worth It?

After reading some of the posts about the record breaker at Full-Tilt and now, Pokerstars is also trying to break the record.

Is playing for all those hours worth the payout to u in any of those events?

To me, I don't think so. I say if u are trying to start a bankroll, u will be better off just playing in a freeroll on those sites instead of the massive special events.

to answer your question... what are you trying to do with these freerolls?

build a bankroll get some practice in and sharpin gyour game up?

well if your trying to build your bankroll then the freeroll wont be worth it but

the buy-in will be more then worth it if you ask me. anytime there is an

overlay then that only a good thing. yes the time to play these can be long

but 1st place in the ftp buy-in for the record breaker is $40,000 right now.

tell me that isnt worth a $5 buy-in.

Also i think if you can make it past the first hour or two in these game it

would be great time to play and work on your poker game. yes these will be

filled with donkey's but at the same time there will be some very good players

in the field. The ftp will have most of the its pro's playing in the $5 buy-in.

And remember all fulltilt poker pros have a bounty payout, which is being multiplied by 5 for thier birthday promotion that FT is runnin. so that is 5x the usually bounty. another cool perk to this tournament. Also if i gotta play poker for 10-15 hours for a 45k payday, then im doing it yup, absolutely worth,so join up before its full.

that is true about ftp bountys but over the past year or so i feel ftp has

been doing a horrible job with using the pro's. with the amount of red pro's

they have on their site you would think they could come up with a pretty

cool promo. i dont know thats just me.

I think that it all depends on what you are looking for in your game. Of course everyone is looking for money but what you invest is different.

Some people don't like to invest much with a high return while others are comfortable investing into a game that could potentially pay big. I guess that really just falls back on how much money you have for poker and your skill level.

If you are ready for buyin games and can afford them- then it's most likely not worth your time to play freerolls.
