As we all know FTP is trying for the record on July 19 at 15:05. Well Pokerstar is going to attempt the record again themselves about an hour before that. Pokerstars is have an $1 buy-in with $100,000 gtd with no max number of people. Pokerstar released this saying. "This is your chance to play in the largest online poker tournament in history, and be part of a Guinness World Record. We’re aiming to beat our previous World Record of 35,000 players, set in December 2008. And with a buy-in of just $1, it’s easy for everyone to take part" The game takes place on the 19th at 14:10 est.

So as i said this is going to be good for all poker players. I don't think the pokerstars game will get 100,000 people but i think you will see around 75,000 people playing which is still $25,000 overlay. If you want to play this on pokerstars the toruny # is 200900719. Also like FTP pokerstars are will be running freeroll sattys to get in this. Each satty will gtd 1,00 tickets to the WR attempt. well in the end pokerstar lowered it to 65,000 with money added. still i think this was smart of them due to the fact they know if ftp trys to come back they can just up the stakes again n them.
