We all strive to be more positive in our lives, but negative influences have away of overshadowing our positive gains.
I pride myself on finding the positive in any situation and shun undo negativity before it grabs hold of anyone in my family.
My wife use to be ruled by negativity and after years of being around my positive spirit, she has become so positive that her coworkers admire her for it.
I stay positive on a daily basis by not letting things bother me and vent
when they do, quickly, so I can shed the negative energy before it can consume me for hours and days.
VENTING to someone is key and realizing that is why you are venting.
What ever you do, don't stuff your emotions when you get mad or hurt.
If you do this as a practice, your negative energy is stored within you until one day you explode. Emotion = Energy in motion
You have to keep you emotional energy moving to stay healthy both mentally and phyically.
All in all I would say that 95% of my year is completely positive.
5% negativity is so much less than most people have to deal with, so I feel truly blessed.
I couldn't imagine dealing with 50% negativity in my life, I hope none of you have too either.
My only negative influence in my life saddly are my parents.
Thank God they live 250 miles away.
