Can you guys believe that Family Guy was nominated for not one but two Emmys this year.

Including best comedy series.

It's high praise but don't you guys think that it is too high of praise for a cartoon?

I have only watched bits and pieces of episodes.

Never one episode at all but it seems stupid to me.

I don't think I am being biased either.

What do you guys think of this news?

Do any of you even care?

Family guy is not worth watching

Now the Emmy's are worth mentioning.

TV is tuning to crap.

I love family guy. But I favor that the emmy nomination is political. Hype trumps quality for awards such as these. IMO. Again, family guy is awesome.

id have to agree with you. the show is ok but rather than the simpsons id rather watch spongbob! heck my daughter even likes it!

The point of it is to make me laugh. It made me laugh. Therefore, it's a quality show.

Love the show dont get me wrong (although The Simpsons will always be the best) but he fact that its even nominated just discredits the emmys even more. Seems to me like the emmys are just bending over backwards for whats popular, regardless of content or anything, trying to sell that airtime and ad space etc. YAY capitalism!
