OK BnLM5, I just checked out your profile and yes you are a cute 43 year old. You have a cute husband too. The view from your porch looks beautiful and calming. You have a nice looking family and they look happy too!!! Thanks for sharing you with us.

Why thank you Pokerkitty, that was very nice of you.

And I must tell you that the picture of the Buttes is

beautiful but what you don't really see is that there is

a highway in front of my house. Cars are a constant flow.

Sometimes I can make is sound like the ocean....

Then a truck goes by. And right now as of this week

They opened up the weigh station right across the highway

See there is a big cement lot That is usually full of stacked

harvest bins 12 high. But now they are picking peaches

so forklifts and big trucks are in and out of there all day

long. Then after peaches they will do prunes. Which by the

way the remaining three sides of my house are surrounded by

peaches and prunes, walnuts, almonds, and I believe there are

kiwis and even oranges but oranges are a winter fruit. So

needless to say really that it is anything but peaceful here. But it is

home!
