Gunpower, Treason, And Plot"

Bonfire night is because in the past, on the 5th of november, a guy called Guy Fawkes, attempted to blow up the houses of Parliament in London to abolish the Government.

Since then tis been commemorated by people building a fire, and throwing a manakin (made up of whatever u can find) caled "guy" onto the fire. Kids make money by asking for pennies for the guy in the streets. Little kids i mean.

Not every house does this. With 37million houses in the UK, itd be crazy. More often than not alot of people go to a huge one run by the council, with awesome fireworks. And i mean AWESOME fireworks.
