Bonfire Night November 5th?

I just read that in the UK they celebrate Halloween with bonefire night
November 5th.
Every one burns a bonefire in their gardens (lawns) and has a big feast.

Is this still true Eejit?

Doesn't that create a huge pollution problem there, with all the smoke.

I forget exactly what it was called back in the day. The reaping or something like that. read it in a few books once.
