    Default Best Whiskey or Bourbon

I need some new drinking tips and I'd rather hear it from y'all than looking up some biased reviews on websites. Reasonably priced, say under 75 for a 750ml (Fifth). Either on the rocks or complemented with a splash of Coca-Cola.
Some Brands I Have Had and Enjoyed
    Woodford
    Crown Royal
    Makers Mark
    Jameson

Throw out some other good ones you whiskey connoisseurs.

Speaking of whiskey, does anyone know where I can get some of the new Black Cherry kind from Jim Beam? Do they sell it in my part of the country? I've been looking here and even in Iowa and I can't seem to find any. It sounds so good too. Has anyone tried it?

No I have not but that sounds like it would make a great mixer. I really am not a big fan of Jim Beam but I could make a trial exception for a new flavor. I have a friend who runs a liquor store and he can order me in anything I want to try out, so I will put that one the tab. I also want to try out this Sam Adams beer called Utopius, it is supposed to be the strongest mass-produced beer. I think it comes in a jug or reservoir rather than bottles, cans, or kegs. I saw it on the history channel on How Its Made: Beer. Has anyone tried Utopius? And don't steer away from the whiskey suggestions, I am in dire need.

My husband is a Jack Daniels kinda man. Myself, I'm more of a vodka girl, but once in a while I will have crown royal just to mix it up.

I'll drink a crown royal when I feel like it.

    And not pregnant.

God it feels like freaking forever since I have had a drink.

Never knew four months would be so long without a drop of alcohol.

    I personally drink Goldschlager.

I love the cinnamon taste of it.

And the fact that it has real specks of Gold in it, just makes me feel like I have a billion dollars to my name because I'm drinking Gold.

    lol.

I'm Absolut-ly a Vodka girl! Haha I love both the currant and vanilla varieties. Klinkman's just recently been able to get me to enjoy Sailor Jerry's rum though to mix it up sometimes. I also love me some Baileys!

But vodka is definitely where it's at.

$75 for a bottle of whisky???? Your mad.

Get a litre of Jamesons here for $25.

I drink beer, or vodka neat, yes, neat, hate it with a mixer, only drink it neat for shots though, or Baileys at Xmas. Baileys + milk = awesome.

When I was a shot girl, Goldschlager was my choice of shot. A guy would say I'll buy one if you drink one with me, I would say ok but that means you buy 2. All night I would drink these shots and bottled water. I guess I built up quite a tolerance because the guys would get drunk way faster than me. They were not used to this shot. I have won alot of money going shot to shot with guys on this one. Goldschlager does make a pretty Christmas drink chilled in a Martini glass with a cherry. Brings back some good memories!
