MLB All-Star Game

The MLB all star game is coming soon. Who do you think will win the American league or National league? Im going to say the national league especially because they have this years home run leader, Albert Pujols. Has the most homeruns before the all star break since Barry Bonds in 2001. The National league is going to win!

I think the american league will win for sure. Consider there streak, what is it like 11 or 12 straight wins in the all star game? I am a little bias as i live in tampa bay and have 4 of my rays on the all-star team (Shout out to pena, zobrist (zorilla), JB (Jason Bartlett), and Evan Longoria).

This year however i think the national league has a shot to make it a great game. I dont see many flaws in their lineup at all. I think though that the pitching of the american league will shut down everyone in the NL Lineup completely. Except for pujols of course. We have halladay starting so theres a shutout for the first three innings or so.

Also, we have joe maddon as our manager. If you guys dont know him, he is a genious when it comes to baseball strategy. I dont see the AL losing this game

Well since this is a thread about the all star game i will post my thought

about who will win and some other stuff about it. Yes i think the AL will win

again just because they have been so good over the last few years in the

allstar game plus i am a texas rangers fan.


As for the format i think the allstar game should be played at the end of the

year. why? will playing it during the middle of the season is kinda dumb

since most of the time a few good player wont play due to an injury....ie

broken pinky nail or something really dumb. if you play it at the end of the

year you will have all the great player playing in the game not to mention the

HR Derby which over the last few years have missed some of the best. you

can still keep the format of the winner getting home field advantage in the

World Series but make it for the following year. Thank about how better the

whole all star week would be with all the true allstars playing. just some food

for thought
