Id have to say that heads up is definately the hardest style to play in my opinion, or maybe its just the worst part of my game, either way Id rather be at a nine man table any day of the week. The quality of hands u play goes down while the amount of hands you play goes up, just seems counter-intuitive to me. You gotta make rereaise with weak aces and maybe make some push's with small pairs like tay was saying; youre definately playing the man more than you re playing your cards. I find that i play well for most of the match, try to make a move, and then get shortstacked :-(. But the HU matches that i have won, ive always played the same way. I palyed tight agressive, i played very slowly so i could maybe get him to make a impatient move, and what i think is key, i always bet in certain incriments, like, Ill bluff with the same amount that ill raise when i hit top two or something. All ins and huge bets go out the window for me in heads up. Im practically always betting the same amounts so my opponent cant get a read on me. Still, id say that hands down, HU is the hardest game in poker.
