Default The Best Golf Course You Have Played

Mine is Poppy Hills, Monterey California. It was my birthday in Janurary and my best friend and I drove 2 hours to see if we could play twilight.
My friend must of said something right to the caller, cause we were next off as a twosome for $25 each. I played great that day and shot an 82,
while my friend shot 80. It was the grace of God I assure you that helped me find my fairway wood through the tall pine trees to stay out of danger. That is one tough course.

Take the virtual tour below of Poppy Hills.
    Enjoy the ride

I haven't played much golf outside of MN, so here are a few of our better courses:

    The Wilderness at Fortune Bay

This is a casino course and is supposed to be in the top three for public courses in MN. I've actually never played it, but I will get up there this summer to check it out. This is also my favorite casino in Minnesota.

The Legend and The Quarry are both part of a golf and ski resort and are also in the top three for public courses in MN.

Stone Ridge is one of the closest courses to me and is the number one public course in the Twin Cities area. I hate it though. It's a nice course, but it's a links course and every time I play it I feel like I am in the British Open.

I tried to link to their tours, but most of them actually suck and don't do the courses justice. If you look at the photo gallery instead I think they'll give you a better view of the courses.

Regarding the British Open comment, why not just, you know, realise your no int he British open?

And doesnt a links course have to be by the sea? Theres no Sea anywhere near MN.

Whats tht course that uses the best holes from every course in the world? Its a par 90 or something as its a 21 hole round....

    Ill find it now

The best golf course i ever played on was called Tour 18. Its a course where

they rebuilt 18 of the best holes in american. Example is they replicated

Sawgrass #17 as one of thier holes. It is a really neat place to play. I think

everyone who goes to texas and plays golf should stop by and play there.

As for the my score...lol i shot a 102. i suck at golf and enjoy the beer more

    then the golf.

well i have played a few good one before but i think the best one i ever played was on Guam. it is called mangilao golf course. it is a very pricy course. japanese tourists pay as much as $500 plus to play. check out the pics its beautiful.

The Legend and Quarry look like my kind of courses.
But the Fortune Bay course is spectacular looking.
The virtual tours are the best I have seen.
Make Poppy Hills look like amatures.
I am sure with the elevation drop from here, I won't be able to hit my 9 iron 155 yards in Minnesota. I will need Eejit as my caddy to handle all the math I will need to do.

    A+ for post presentation.
