Happy 4th of July!!!! While we enjoy our day, lets say a prayer for those still fighting for our freedom. Make sure your flag it out where everyone can see!!! Wave it with pride. I am and always will be a red, white, and blue girl. Tonight I am going to Silver Springs Theme Park (home of the glass bottom boat on the Silver Springs River, which is all spring water). The water stays 72 degrees year round. I will be watching fireworks and listening to Terry Clark in concert. My last day of having a good time with party favors until after surgery!!!! Be safe!!!!

well happy 4th everyone. i hope all is safe for u all. and happy bday turkey. i will be watching the city of santa claras fireworks show at central park. should be fun. my wifes friends husband works for city so we get the best seats and parking in the house, it will be a blast literally.

I watched the flag

Had fallen through the years.

How many died on foreign

Soil

How many mothers' tears?



How many pilots' planes

Shot down?

How many died at sea

How many foxholes were soldiers'

Graves ?

No, freedom isn't free

I heard the sound of Taps

One night,

When everything was still,

I listened to the bugler

And felt a sudden chill.

I wondered just how many times

That Taps had meant 'Amen,'



When a flag had draped a

Coffin.

Of a brother or a friend.



I thought of all the

Children,

Of the mothers and the wives,

Of fathers, sons and

Husbands

With interrupted lives.

Thought about a graveyard

At the bottom of the sea



Of unmarked graves in

Arlington .

No, freedom isn't free.
