I think it was close to a grand its been awhile Ive won that same tournament 3 times and cashed 8 times out of about 30 but I always had equal amount of chips after that first one. Cherokee Casino in Oklahoma is were it was held

I played at a casino near me. They had a 50 dollar buy in poker tourny but you start with 1000 chips and then anyone who had played live play could get up to 3000 more chips for 3 hours of play. I didnt know this before I got there so I didnt have 3 hours in and had to play with 1thousand and everyone else had 4thousand. Well I didnt play a hand for about 30 minutes then I got pocket kks blinds were getting up there so i shoved with 3 callers and got up to about 5500 chips in one hand and from there I won the whole thing. I think it was cool because of starting with only 1000 chips.

Yeah thats got to be pretty cool to win a tourney with a 50 dollar buy in. What did first place pay in that? I guess those pocket Kings were a big turnaround for you. They got you up to 5500, actually some chips to work with; with the blinds getting high like you said. Cool win!

dang that is pretty amazing...well congratulations...that is awesome...ive never won one that big..u probably won alot of money for that tournament to didnt you??
