Good Play or donk play

OK so i was playing in a $20 tourny tonight live with rebuys....i didn't rebuy but the add on was only $10 for over the starting stack in chips.....only 9 ppl played and blinds were 75-150 im in the SB...it fold to the hijack position and he makes it 325 to go and the button smooth calls......i shove With Ak off 2275 ( short stack at table) and the BB folds.....The hijack thinks about it then folds ( later claimed he folded AJ off) and the button snap calls my all in he had about 2600 in chips...and i am thinking i am doninated by a PP QQ JJ or 1010...was my read....no the button flips of QJ off and so i am way ahead b/c this is then the hijack anounces he folded AJ off



So b4 i tell u what happened do you feel this was a bad play by the button at this point in the tourny ( It's after rebuys and add ons)





Well since i was running bad the whole tourny and didn't win a race even when i had a dominating lead I lost the hand
Flop fell J47
Turn 8
River 2

In my opinion he could have deff picked a better spot with a raise and a reraise he hasta think he is way behind ...so please tell me what you think

maybe his wife called during the break and told him to get his butt home..

i think with his chip stack he could of picked a better spot to push. the only

thing i can thin of is maybe he put you on a low pocket pair and hoped to win

the race but with you being short stack i would of put you on at least and

ace or a king.

IF he had over 10,000 chips i call it.

As for his call to your shove, he should know he is beating nothing, pot odds arent great, i only call if i can afford it.

haha it was the 3rd best hand i saw all night besides JJ and 44 the JJ was in a hand vs AA and 22 and the 2's floped a set....haha so when i looked down at AK it wqas a no brainer....esp since the hijack player was a very agressive player raiseing hands such as J9 suited and Q j off.....and the button was just a weak player....who had limp folded on alot of flops
