i used to play poker at my uncles house dealer choice. My aunt came up with this new game called gut. It can be 2,3, or 5. Its your best five card hand you do not show your cards. There is a widow. Which is like a ghost player. The ultimate best hand you can have have is 7s. Which beats all the players. But if the ghostly widow has sevens you have to pay the pot. You keep the cards in you hand. The dealer says 1 2 3 guts. If you want to keep your hand you stay if you dont you drop em. If you up against another play and loose or the widow and loose you pay the pot. It keeps going till someone gets the whole pot. The highest the pot has ever gotten up to is like 300 dollars. People put IOUs in the pot if they cant pay it. Its a fun game. Another nice game to play is three stacks of fifty etc.
