what not to post?

well i have read a few threads that are basically a "what to post"thread so i thought i would start this one.anyone who has something to add would be greatly appreciated.
I will start the list with two that i will try not to do
i used to post the odd joke usually imported from something i recieved in an e-mail only because i found it to be very funny which i will now avoid doing because i dont want someone posting after that it has already been posted by someone else a few weeks or months ago
and secondly avoid back to back posts in same thread;it looks bad or has bad karma or something.
