I like tournaments that don't cost me that much money but are guarantees. That way there is usually more money in the prizes than just the buyins. I only wish I could player bigger ones though!

    This is a good thread.

Ive checked my stats for all tourneys, and compared it to what i like to play.

I do best n field sizes of 1000-1500. I have 3 wins, and several top 50s. My ROI in these tourneys is 3550%. which is GOOD! Best online i believe for a larger sample size.

So, according to stats, i am best in games with a $150-$250 buyin. of 1500 people.

My favourite games are weirdly 1000-10,000 players, with a big buyin as i play alot better and my reads/advanced plays are 100x more effective at that level.

Shame i cant afford it really.

well unlike eejit i like the total size around 100-500. that why i played on cake so much. my range for buyin's is $5 to the max of $33 but have played a few $55 and $109's on cake when i won satty to then. i mainly like playing turbo's cuz i get really bored quick (maybe i have A.D.D. or whatever it called) but when i set my mind to it i can play the GTD tournys at cake. also i love playing the bounty games. i tend to do really good in these. 10k gtd on cake is easy money if you ask me. then again i say everything is easy money on cake. anyways i think you guys get the point

Hey, ejjit, if a 700 people game with lots of callers and fish donkey, freezout, takes around 4hours to finish, a game with 10.000 tight players, would last at least 10 hours... would that be correct? I wonder if I would make it more of 12 hours of poker... those maratons seans funny.!

yeah i would say anywhere from 100-500 players. buy ins from $1-33. my best play is when it is around 300 players. i really like the gtd rebuy tourneys or even the freezeout tourneys. i play big tourneys on ly when i win a seat via satellite. they are fun because u get in cheap and win big. my roi sucks but i still think i win my share.

My Ideal game is a private $5 no rebuys $200 added with only 50 players or less. They don't come around often enough. Any cheap tourney no re buys and dead money is good to me.

    Grow up.

I now spend alot of time on this forum reading everything. So if i miss stuff i apologise.

Your post didnt make all that much sense, but its not your fault English isnt your primary language.

The longest tourney ive played in was the $3 rebuys, $20k gtd on stars. Started with about 3,000 players. I won it, took me nearly 12 hours if i remember correctly. There should be a link to it on here i think. Ill have a look.

The longest tourney ive seen was the Stars Sunday Mil i played in when it was $500 buyin, $2.5mil guaranteed.

I literally bubbled it. I remember it clearly. Had AQ. Flop was A A 2. Got it in vs JJ and a J hit on the turn. Sad times. We were the 2 chip leaders as well. He went on to final table it i think.

But a 10,000 people tourney, with just normal players would take a while. Id estimate 10 hours yes.
