    Default Where are you playing?

While this question is mainly for U.S. players - Feel free to add your vote/comments even if you are not in the U.S.

I haven't been able to play much poker lately so I was curious where all of the NDN'ers are playing their online poker. Please take a second to vote. If I left out any rooms that accept U.S. players please reply and let me know.

Hopefully I can catch up with everyone at the tables and begin to consider rooms to use for future tournaments.

    Thanks for your input!

I have been at cake, vegas 247 and a little bit of Wingows. Using epassporte for moving money and so far it is working good.

As you know Venom I have been away for a while so now it's time to pick your brain...

Is Vegas247 a "skin" of Absolute? I haven't looked into that particular room so any info (likes/dislikes) would be appreciated!

How is Wingows? I have an email from their affiliate manager (who used to be with Absolute) asking for me to join them - Since you are playing there I can assume I wouldn't regret making that move.

How's Epassporte holding up? I thought I read that they recently bailed on the U.S. - Is that not the case?

New ewallets is what I am working on at the moment - Kinda got beat on a bit while I was away. I'll look into Eco Card, Epassporte, and Ewallet Xpress. If there are any others that anyone would suggest for U.S. players please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your next response Venom - Much appreciated.

24/7 is indeed a skin of AP, nothing really different there. Their private tournament policy is, I think anyway.

Wingows is a skin of Poker World, which we tried a couple years ago i think. Its bigger than PW, and decent, I played there a bit, nothing special.

I dont think Epassporte has closed on US, I opened an account there a couple weeks ago (though I havent looked into it since). I know a few people that use it (MainStick just sent a bit into it I think, he could tell ya how that goes soon) and have said only good things. I had no problem creating an account via bank account (just like Neteller).

    Thats about what I know.

Thank you Borgo - Your input is always superb.

Did you bail on Poker.com? I thought we were in agreement that it was our "new" favorite place to play. What's changed that's changed your mind?

Why is 24/7 getting more hype than AP itself?

Didn't know Wingows was a skin of Poker World - Thank you for that. I always liked Poker World. Aside from their lack of players - I enjoyed their simple software and good customer service along with fast payouts.

    Keep that info coming!

I hit a bad run there, lost $400 in a week, decided Id take a break there...eventually found a place that I get 50% rakeback (will not advertise here as of now as it is undergoing massive changes, would appreciate if others follow my lead, ask in MSN if explaining is needed) and raked there for a while. Got some great stories from there. Taking a break from there now during these changes, liking Cake a lot, theyre growing quickly and their guaranteed tournaments are cheap, and the rings are full of fish. Dont have the roll online that I used to, so I am kinda limited to playing at one site at a time at the limits I am.

If I may ask, have you climbed limits while I have been away?

I'll catch up with you (and everyone else) on MSN soon. I am with family for the Easter weekend so I don't want to start MSN convo's that I can't finish. Although, you may see me on late at night these next couple of days.

well most ? been answered. Epassporte is working for me, I just got it going last week and have had my first cashouts hit my bank as off today. I have nothign bad to say about it, works like neteller, the money was moved when tey said it would, so no complaints at all. Dawggs leageu moved from Poker.com and don't really play ther much at all (never) there is no way to move the money off the site, untill they get epassporte I wont be playing there. Wingows has some nice little small buy ins been playing in and doing ok, Cake is good. I haven't playing to much, just picking and choosing, looking for value.

    Thank ya Venom.

Any particular reason you and Borgo have avoided the other rooms (specifically UB, AP, and Full Tilt)?

I pretty much only play Poker.com you don't have to deposit to get your money and they have added a check withdrawal options that is free once a month. I will play at fulltilt and absolute, but poker.com is my first choice to play.

No, Im down limits, withdrew most of my $, got most of it invested. The roll Im on now comes from a bet, Ill tell you about it when you get a chance to hop online.

The biggest reason I (and I may be speaking for Venom too) are playing on VP and Cake are the leagues that play there. Between the two sites, I may play games for 3-4 leagues per week, all of which play almost exclusively at one of those two sites.

I like Full Tilt too, had a little run there a while back...however, not old enough to play there, and dont want to go through taht again.

Yeah, what borgo said, just playing where the leagues take me. And as I said, havent been playing all that much, but dawggs league for instance, winner gets a seat in the 4k, top finishers get seats in bigger tournies, so basically looking for the best "deals"

u want player advice (dunno if you do) but im bored so here you go.

Poker.com = lolaments. They have a poker affiliate site, create a poker site from it, then in ONE DAY without TELLING ANYONE, change ot CArbon Poker, their poker.com www page becopmes an affiliate site. Now if you search online poker or "poker" on google, thats the first page to come up. They get the hits, the players, they are clever ill give them that. As for the site, yes some fish, lack of choice at levels, and sucky tourney rules and lag issues aplenty.

Cake =Sigh. I play here for some league thing or other. Structure is fine, i like the promos. Grpahics are the horrendous, also ALOT of fish here, as its people taking shots with free m oney from sattelites, but i wouldnt bother. That site bores me, i dunno why.

Vegas247 = good times. Owned by the old/current (noone knows) of AP. Affiliate network is excellent, trustworthy. Same skin as AP so u know i hate the structure and graphics, but it has a US allowed thing so who cares abou that. Lack of fish though. In reference to the "hype" thing, they are getting it as at CAPeuro they gave us all a good party
    **ill send u the pic**

Stars/Tilt - Add these as 1 as its easy. The ONLY place to play. Excessive choice, over 150k players at once between them. Allow US, lots of bonuses. huge cash game selection, including draw, lowball, horse and hose each now. Incredible tourneys, stars had a $1.5mil gtd a week ago. More importantly, Stars customer service cant be beaten.

Wingows = PW was awful. this is nearly as bad.

For people playing for "deals" and such, then go with leagues and such.

For people playing cash games - stars full tilt.

For league games - cake sadly.

FWIW - the best 2 deposit options for US people are epassporte, and pre paid visa. Debit cards still work mostly too btw.

    Have fun, hope this helps

    Whoa, is that NDN?!

I haven't been playing all that much online these days, just an occassionally sit&go at AP or UB. Like Borg, I had a run of really bad luck at poker.com and haven't played there since...

I was also using Neteller and since they went away, I've just been playing with what I had left online...

hardly play if so at AP, haven't played hard since our games working 10 -12 a day last 6 months, but I do spy on the forums here, have somewhat of a fix on our status, "BADD" . So just chilling and waiting, haven't been depositing though the thought of a 8 by 8 isn't very motivating.SO HEY ALL!!!!!!!! Maybe I can join another league soon and see ya'all at the tables, if not!!! I am watching.
