This was a brief thread, but a very important one!

It will take some time to see the results and full effects of the reputation system, but I genuinely believe it is for the good of the forum or I would not have introduced the new system.

Believe it or not, I did not introduce the new system to minimize the benefits of each member.

I am always happy to reward everyone as much as possible! As a matter of fact, I am not aware of a single forum that has been as rewarding as this one from day one. Even before the chips system was introduced we rewarded our loyal members in more ways than I can possibly remember.

I am very aware of the fact that there wouldn't be an NDN if we didn't have the great members that we do and I will always do everything in my power to show you how much I appreciate your loyalty and support!

Such as those great deck of cards promo! Deposit $25, get a card. Fill a suit, get a gift. Fill 2, get $50. Fill all 4, get LOTS!

I had a thought about this, if origionally you got 0.1 chips a post, and still has the same payouts for chips on the forum, people would still post here. Alot. As its free money! The fact it moved about a bit and has gone down for s short period until you work your way up, you just need to give it time.

Patience- that seems to be a big problem here. sometimes i wish people would think about thing first before they post complaits about it. like obama said its time for change. just be smart and dont post stupid crap no one cares about. not hard to read and follow the rules.

patience is a virtue. some people find it hard to see it. im not sure y this is all happening now. i like the new system.. i guess members true colors are starting to show.

Yeah I really really don't get why people are complaining/confused about the new system, especially the ones who know and love NDN and the benefits we have. Yes it's billed as a new system, but it's really not all that different, and pretty soon it'll be even better than what we had. It's basically preaching to the choir, as all of us who regularly post are likely in good standing to be repped anyway. So I don't really see what the big deal is or what the confusion is over. Honestly how many of us check our chip counts after every post to see how much we made? I don't think anyone would be complaining had they not misunderstood NDN's comment about people making less, somehow that got blown way out of proportion in my opinion. It's temporary, people, and complaining about it is only going to make the system worse for you as you won't get repped as quickly as people who understand it and go along with it (I think, at least that's how I would view things). I'm just putting my thoughts out there and support for NDN, I know it's hard running this website and if you think about it he's making even more work for himself and eejit by promising us he'll read our posts and reward us for good ones! How can that possibly be bad or worse than him probably just skimming them before and treating everyone equally for long, boring posts?

So thanks NDN and eejit, for all you do. I want you to know that I get it, and I support your running of this forum and the new system.

I have to say in the past NDN has always had great promo's etc and im sure this change is of benefit to all users of this site.
