    Default What is the best starting hand for Omaha Hi/low

    I whant to know what is the best starting hand for omaha hi /low,
    I think i would be A2suited with 3Ksuited

    so u have either AK and also A23 to make the lows..
    I would like to know more about omaha hi /low strategy.

    AAK2 double suited is what i was always told but i might be wrong. maybe the king eejit can give us his thoughts.

    also i read my post in the poker section i made about omaha. you can use some of that knowledge too. also do get caught with your pants down chasing the low. more time then not you will spilt the low or not even get it.

    AA23 double suited is the best starting hand for O8 (omaha hi/lo)

    It gives u the best chances at both pots. A2s and A3s. Simple!

    ty eejit i couldnt seem to find a for sure answer to that question !i generally play aa with a suited 2 very strong ,the third card i never paid too much attention to unless it came into play

    To be honest having the 3 makes only a small amount of difference. It just cuts out other low draws if the ace comes. And having AAK2 is only good for the top end straight, as youd need 2 kings on board to improve on your AA.

    AA23 double suited (ds)
    AA22 (ds)
    AA2K (ds)
    AA24 (ds)
    AA25 (ds)
    then all variations down in order
