    Default Bad Casino

I just got a advertising call from an online casino.
I was offered a great bonus code!

I don't believe I ever gave permission for any casino to call me.
Do the online casinos have the right to phone solicite us?
I thought there were privacy laws.

Has anyone else gotten any calls like this?

It's not unusual to receive a call (especially if you've played with the group in the past).

If you don't want any calls in the future just tell them not to call again.

If you sign up at a casino and bet your own real money ( you deposit and play ) then they have the right to call and leave recorded promo's and specials "just for you exclusively" as much as they want.I have gotten so many of these that I called a few casinos back and informed them that I had signed up for the "National Do Not Call List" that prevents any telephone solicitation of any kind, but the one loophole is if you have purchased a product from a company in the recent past (I'm guessing it's around a year maybe two,but I am not sure about this part)then they can do telephone solicitation calls to you EVEN if you are on the NDNCL.
I found this out after Cool Cat Casino and I had a very heated discussion about the very frequent calls from them letting me know about the weekly/daily specials and me threatening to sue the **** out of them, and the guy from Cool Cat laughing and telling me I couldn't do squat. After that I double checked with the NDNCL website and found out the S.O.B. from Cool Cat was right.
The Cool Cat calls keep coming 2-3 times a week and you can bet the farm I'll NEVER deposit at that casino again!

If you'd like to send me a private message with your details I can see if I can put a stop to the calls for you.

Thanks, I can handle this one.

I won't care if I only get them occasionally.

In the U.S., The National Do Not Call List is regulated and maintained by The Federal Trade Commission. Any U.S. resident may add his business, residence or cell phone numbers to The Do Not Call List:

    https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx

Telemarketers are required by law to discontinue phoning listed numbers beginning 31 days after those numbers appear on the list. Yes, there are exceptions for businesses with whom the recipient has had a relationship within the previous 18 months.

    https://www.donotcall.gov/faq/faqbusiness.aspx#who

However, read on... If a consumer specifically requests that the telemarketer not call again, then the telemarketer is barred from further solicitation, even if that consumer's number is not on the Do Not Call List, and whether or not a previous relationship existed.

Sure, most aggressive telemarketers will blow off this law, at least initially, and continue calling. It is then up to the consumer to report each subsequent call by completing this simple online complaint form:

    https://complaints.donotcall.gov/com...k.aspx?panel=2

When the FTC receives a sufficient number of complaints about a particular company, the calls will cease. Telemarketers who persist are subject to an $11,000 fine per call. The consumer need only provide accurate information and is not required to prove that he was called.

There are several online sites that provide additional information in cases where the caller's ID is spoofed:

    http://whocallsme.com
    who-called-me : who-called-me
CallFerret - Reverse Phone Lookup for telemarketers, debt collectors and more...

When I first began reporting telemarketers using the above process, I was receiving anywhere from 10 to 50 solicitation calls per day. Within a month after I begain filing complaints, the calls had diminished by about 50%. 3-4 months later, such calls averaged fewer than 3 per day.

Default I like getting the calls & great Bonus offers.

Yes, I do receive calls from online casino sites! Mostly wanting to know why I haven't been playing on there site," if its been awhile? They'll offer a nice Bonus of 250 or, 300% with no max cash out and, no waggering. I also get calls from the promotion dept. at times as well. Once you register on a casino site and, give them your phone number, believe me they'll notice if you arent playing and Call, if they want you back!! rebecca101

Have not experienced any phone calls from any casinos. The only thing that I have received is flyers in the mail showing their promotions, etc. I have gotten a call from absolute poker before just making sure that I received a check when I made a withdrawal. When I told them I have not received it yet they credited my account $5 for the inconvenience. I thought that was nice of them to do that.
